Dear all of you Tegoans,
TL/DR: Tego is shutting down.
Thank you. This has been an amazing journey, and I am immensely grateful to have been on this journey with you. After three campaigns, I’ve realized that getting Tego to where I dreamed is going to take more money and time than I have right now.
After much consideration and with a heavy heart, I’ve decided to shut Tego down at the end of December (unless you have a better idea).
From the very beginning, Tego was a dream—one that started while I was on the biggest adventure of my life: building an airplane and flying it around the country. I started making tool rolls for that journey and then applied the concept to toiletries and all the other things in life that need organizing. Thanks to you and all the backers of our Kickstarters, it became something real.
The most fun part of this journey was working with all of you to bring this dream to life. You helped refine the product in ways I never could have imagined alone, from configurable sections to options for toiletries, tools, art supplies and even horse grooming (yep, real use case). Every idea that made the product better came from you.
Thank you - for your backing, for your input, and for believing in Tego. It’s been a joy.
Let’s roll.
Parker
